Preparing to Visit Bell-Stone School

Why are we going to Costa Rica you ask?

About 2 years ago we made the choice to only use ethical coffee in our church kitchen. We were buying a Fair Trade product from a Canadian supplier. This past September I discovered the Down to Earth Company of Costa Rica. Since then we have been buying directly from this company for our kitchen needs, as well as using their fundraising program. This company supports 4 charities within Costa Rica, and has a travel division well used by school and church groups. The high standards of Down to Earth regarding the quality of their products, minimum environmental impact, and maximum social benefit, convinced us to investigate the potential of a long term relationship which would be of benefit to both our countries.
